About Poltair

A fresh approach to building.

Design, construction and development experience, working together across Devon and Cornwall.

Our background

A developer’s understanding. A contractor’s expertise.

We understand projects from both sides: developing the scheme and delivering the build. That experience helps us consider design, cost, programme and the needs of the people who will use the finished building together.

Poltair Construction Ltd is a sister company to Poltair Developments Ltd, whose development business was established in 1996. Poltair Construction was incorporated in 2020 and brings together more than 190 years of combined construction experience.

Our development background includes small and medium sites and schemes of up to 130 homes. We understand the decisions behind a development, the demands of construction and what the people who use the finished building will expect.

We work across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use construction in Devon and Cornwall. Design, cost management, programme, quality and communication are planned together from the outset.

Our vision

Using our imagination to create homes people love.

Our company vision, adopted in 2018.

Working together

Everyone has a part to play.

Everyone contributes to the construction process. Our approach encourages people to speak up, share ideas and work across departments, with open access to the management team.

Administration and finance colleagues visit sites to understand the work first-hand. Site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients work together, with respect, clear communication and fair accountability.
